What is this product and what is it used for?

Tea Tree Oil

This oil is characterized by being rich in terpinen-4-ol and 8-cineol, components with antiseptic properties, inhibiting the growth of bacteria and fungi, soothing itching and stinging. At the same time, this oil has cooling, decongestant, protective effects and able to relieve skin discomfort.
Furthermore, the 8-cineol, also known as eucalyptol, provides a natural deodorant effect.
Adapted pH to gynecologic needs
Certain pathogens, usually fungi, are able to cause discomfort. In adults, in the skin folds of the external genitals (perineal area), these organisms find a suitable environment for growth due to increased humidity and an acidic pH (<7).
At this stage the inner zone protection against harmful bacteria is enhanced with the use of hygienic products with a slightly alkaline pH (8.5).
Mild cleansing formulation with betaines Soft agents suitable for sensitive skin care because they do not dry out and maintain the physiological balance of the skin and external mucosa.
Formulated with 0.6% of Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia) and a slightly alkaline pH, 8.5, which acts as a protective shield against germs.

When to use Melagyn® Gel?

For intimate care in all situations in which may be present redness, itching, burning and irritation.
For example, vaginal discharge, menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum (puerperal), postoperative, dryness, light urine loss, sexual intercourse (post-coital), post-depilatory. If you suffer from genital infections or hemorrhoids it can be used for external genital hygiene.
Without parabens. Without colorants.

How is this product given?

Moisten the area, apply gently forming foam and rinse with abundant water. Two daily applications of Melagyn® Gel for intimate hygiene in case of infection, irritation or discomfort in the vulvar, perineal and anal area. One daily application for intimate hygiene. In the episiotomy hygiene, wait two minutes before rinsing with water.
